The Tampa Police Department and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission released the number of arrests made during the Gasparilla Pirate Fest Saturday.

They say despite the large crowds, the numbers were surprisingly low.
Tampa police arrested one person for battery on a law enforcement officer and 19 others on charges including underage drinking, misdemeanor battery, disorderly conduct, and trespassing after a warning. They also issued a civil citation for less than 20 grams of marijuana.
FWC officers arrested and removed 15 impaired and under the influence boaters during the event.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office also released the number of arrests they made Saturday during Gasparilla.
Deputies made two arrests for disorderly conduct, one arrest for disorderly conduct and resisting without violence, and one arrest for disorderly conduct, battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting without violence.
