It's not hard to find Edward Myles on Saturdays.
The 33-year-old is usually making sandwiches in Ybor City. A great many sandwiches.
Myles is the founder of a non-profit organization called "Let's Feed Folks."
Myles and volunteers can be found in the streets of Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater handing out sandwiches to the less fortunate and homeless.
"The biggest amount we've done is 400," said Myles of his group's efforts to feed as many people as possible. "We've done 400 bags and that was pretty cool."
Myles' group does this work on a tight budget, much of it coming out of his own pocket.
"Sandwiches, whether ham, baloney, salomi or whatever," Myles said of the food bags handed out. "Then we have a snack, chips or a debby cake or something and then we have water we give out."
Each bag also contains a card that reads: "Faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love."
The group also make clothing, blankets and baby items available to those in need.
"We are here to help one another, regardless of our position in life," Myles said. "So whatever you can do, whatever little piece there is, just do it."
