TAMPA, Fla. — Cool temperatures will be settling in for a while so get used to having your long sleeves and jackets out. Temperatures will bottom out in the 30s and 40s for Saturday morning.

Skies will go between mostly clear and partly cloudy.

Saturday will start with a mix of sun and clouds early in the morning. Clouds will increase as the day goes along, though, so we end up mostly cloudy in the afternoon to evening.

Highs will make it into the low 60s.

There might be just enough moisture to squeak out some sprinkles late Saturday into Saturday night. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies with lows in the 40s.

Sunday is shaping up to be a cloudy, wet day. Moisture will be moving in from the Gulf of Mexico, which will lead to light rain on and off through the day.

The highest coverage and heaviest amounts will be from the bay southward, but even northern counties will likely get some rain.

Therefore, expect temperatures to hold steady most of the day, only making it into the low to mid 50s. It will definitely be a chilly day.

Monday will go back to mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 60s.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

Both of those nights will be chilly in the 30s and 40s.

Another cold front is on the way Tuesday night with a blast of cold air for Wednesday.
