WASHINGTON — Tyson Foods is recalling over 36,000 pounds of chicken nuggets products over fears the products could be contaminated with "extraneous materials" such as rubber, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

- Recall pertains to 5 lb packages of Tyson White Meat Panko Chicken Nuggets
- Items had "Best if used by" date of November 26, 2019, case code 3308SDL03
- Items were shipped to retailers nationwide
Specifically, the company is recalling 5 pound packages of "Tyson White Meat Panko Chicken Nuggets" which were produced on November 26, 2018. The items have a "Best if Used by" date of November 26, 2019 and case code 3308SDL03.
The products subject to recall have establishment number P-13556 inside the USDA mark of inspection.
FSIS became aware of the problem after receiving consumer complaints, according to the agency. The products were shipped nationwide.
The agency says there have been no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the products. They are concerned that consumers may have the products in their freezers, and urged consumers to either throw the products away or return them to where they were purchased.
