TAMPA, Fla. — Police in Tampa are searching for whoever shot a woman early Sunday morning.

Police say the 18-year-old woman was found shot in the 3700 block of North 15th Street in the Ybor Heights area, around 1:30 a.m., during a pop-up party.

There was some kind of altercation at the party. We don't know if the woman was involved in that.

She was taken to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police are still investigating the scene and are searching for a suspect. They have not said if they have someone in mind. 

They are currently trying to talk to witnesses to gather as much information as they can.
