ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Skies will go between partly cloudy and mostly clear overnight into early Thursday morning.

Lows will be milder, stopping in the 60s.

Winds, temperatures, and humidity will all be on the increase through the day.

Skies will go from mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Winds will turn breezy from the south.

There will be enough atmospheric moisture for a few isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon to evening, mainly inland east of I-75, with the best chance in Polk county.

Thursday night will be partly cloudy and breezy with an isolated chance of a shower overnight. Lows will be in the 70s.

Friday will feature a windy, humid morning with increasing clouds and a line of thunderstorms moving in from the Gulf of Mexico. The timing appears to be from mid-day to late afternoon, but it could shift a little later depending on how fast the low pressure to our north moves.

That line of storms will contain strong, gusty winds with the possibility of some hail and a tornado.

We will be keeping a close eye on it to see how it evolves as it moves across the gulf. We highly recommend you watch it closely also, as it will likely impact your day one way or another.

The highs on Friday will be reached early in the low 80s, with temperatures dropping when the rain comes through.

Saturday morning will be cloudy, with scattered showers and sprinkles coming off the gulf. It will be a much cooler day with windy conditions. Highs will only be around 70.

The showers will exit with drier air moving in during the afternoon to evening.

Sunday will be sunny and gorgeous with highs in the upper 70s.
