ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Most museums let you look at the past, but the Pinball Arcade Museum in St. Petersburg lets you actually play with the past.

  • Interactive museum lets you play with the past
  • Owner has had the pinball machines for over 40 years
  • Proceeds from playing go to Odessa Wildlife Rescue and Sanctuary

“The whole concept of this museum is that Andrew Kline is the owner and the founder,” said Karen Ann Holland, general manager of the Pinball Arcade Museum.

“And these arcade games and pinball machines are his and they've been in storage and he's owned them for over 40 years,” Holland said.

Now those games are all on display for play in an interactive museum.

Some 60 pinball machines and arcade games are refurbished ready for player one and it’s not all fun and games.

Proceeds from playing go to help fund the Odessa Wildlife Rescue and Sanctuary. Kline also runs that facility and won recognition as a Spectrum Bay News 9 Everyday Hero in 2018 for his efforts.

“We're helping charity.” Holland said. “We're helping the community and we're bringing people together to have good clean fun.” It cost $12 for adults to play all day, $8 for kids 10 and under.”
