ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. —  Skies will go from mostly clear to partly cloudy overnight into early Tuesday morning.

Some areas of fog will develop and could linger in some spots Tuesday. There will also be areas of sea fog that develop over the Gulf waters Tuesday afternoon and push into our coastal areas

A southerly breeze will keep us warm and humid for Tuesday with scattered showers and storms late Tuesday afternoon to evening moving through the region.  The highs will still reach around 80 degrees, with 70s at the coast.

The cold front will come through very early Wednesday morning with cooler air rushing in immediately.  So the high temperature in the 60s for Wednesday will be early in the morning, while the rest of the day will be cool and breezy with temperatures hovering in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Wednesday night will be chilly with lows in the 40s and 30s.

Thursday will be a cool, but nice day with sunny skies and highs in the 60s.

Temperatures will start to moderate a bit Friday into the weekend, but another weather system is on the way that could give us clouds and a couple rain chances, which would likely keep our temperatures in the seasonable range.
