Divers recovered three possible grave markers from Lake Twitt, next to land that once was the all-black Keystone Memorial Cemetery in northwest Hillsborough County.
It could mean the grave markers were pulled from the cemetery and tossed into the lake decades ago.
The cemetery is believed to have been lost 70 years ago near what is now a 130-acre tree farm.
A team of the University of South Florida researchers is set to conduct a search of the land with ground penetrating radar.
