TAMPA, Fla. — One person was taken to the hospital Monday after a crash in downtown Tampa involving a charter bus and a TECO streetcar.

The crash happened at 11:17 a.m. at Channelside Drive and Franklin Street, and it dislodged the streetcar from the tracks.
The driver of the streetcar was taken to a hospital for evaluation after he reported minor injuries.
There were no other reported injuries.
The intersection was closed as crews worked to return the streetcar to the tracks.
The bus driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
