ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The man arrested in a fatal St. Petersburg hit-and-run appeared before a judge on Saturday.

Police said Keshawn Long was driving a stolen Mercedes when he ran a stop sign on Jan. 18 and crashed into another vehicle killing Saniya Daxon, 27 and injuring the driver of that vehicle.
Long has been charged with vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a crash involving injury, leaving the scene of a crash involving death, operating without a driver's license causing death and auto theft.
Long, 19, was already in jail on auto theft charges unrelated to the fatal crash.
His bond for the charges total $325,000. He remained in jail Saturday.
