TAMPA, Fla. — Despite a condition that's kept him homebound for months, a Tampa teen received the birthday celebration of a lifetime Sunday thanks to his dad and a few friends who own beautiful cars.

Joshua Febbles was born with spontaneous hemothorax, a rare lung disease that could become even more dangerous should he ever be exposed to coronavirus.

With Joshua's 17th birthday coming up, his dad knew a traditional celebration would not be possible. But he also knew his son loves cars, so he figured out a way to bring the party of the year to Joshua while keeping him safe.
