RIVERVIEW, Fla. — Spoto High School's principal and other front office workers won't be on campus Monday when students return for on-campus learning.

School officials said Principal Jazzrick Haggins and other workers will be at home under quarantine after three cases of coronavirus were reported on campus.

Last week's first week of school was remote only.

School distict officials said supervisors from other schools will be pulled in to work at Spoto during the first few days.

Officials said the campus has been cleaned again and is safe for students.

Meanwhile, school campuses in Hillsborough County will reopen Monday as planned.

School board members held an emergency meeting Friday morning after a judge lifted a stay in the teacher's union lawsuit, giving local districts control over whether to reopen without facing financial penalties.
