Terry Bruillard, 59, was riding her bicycle near the intersection of Pinellas Avenue and White Dove around 5 a.m. when police say a driver fatally struck her and kept on going.

Friends of the victim say she was a loving woman who always had a smile on her face.
“She was a loving soul,” said Xanthi Zembillas, a friend and former coworker. “She connected with everyone. She made everybody laugh. I’d just seen her riding her bike just last week.”
Another friend who saw the aftermath of the fatal accident didn’t realize it was Bruillard.
“I actually was stopped this morning on the way to work,” Heather Barlow said. “I couldn’t get through and we saw the accident but had no idea it was my friend. I hope the person who did this does the right thing and turns himself in.”
