ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. —Instead of opening gifts, five children in St. Petersburg gave gifts on Christmas.

For four years, the Baxley family has been on a mission to provide gifts to the homeless.

They started with one big, and now they have 100, including essential items like face masks and blankets that all were donated by people in the community.

“We got so much stuff, so much love from the community that we were able to meet our goal,” Jessica Baxley said.

After packing it all up, they headed to St Vincent Du Paul in downtown St. Petersburg.

They were greeted by smiles behind every mask.

 “It’s a blessing, it’s a blessing.” one of the recipients said.
