Montana Breseman, who was last seen at River Ridge Middle School in New Port Richey around 11 a.m. Monday, has been found and is safe in Tampa, stated the sheriff's office in a news release early Tuesday morning.

Authorities have not stated exactly where she was found.

Officials believe Breseman, who goes by the name Jordan, left the school some time after 11 a.m., but her disappearance was not reported to the school's resource officer until 2 p.m., Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said Monday night.

The girl is believed to have traveled with a white male in his late teens, officials said.

Early Tuesday morning, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office stated that the unnamed male and the dark colored 4-door Hyundai sedan were identified and located, however, no information about them was released.

Breseman told other students that she may be going to Georgia, but investigators do not know if that is her final destination, Nocco said.

When she went missing, Breseman was wearing a gray hoodie, that reads "My Body My Sweat
Your Tears," a blue bandanna and black and white leggings, according to officials.

Nocco said investigators scoured video footage from cameras in the area. Parents were urged to ask their children if they knew anything about her whereabouts, Nocco said.

"We have to rescue this little girl," he said during a news conference Monday evening.

Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco will be holding a press conference Tuesday at 9 a.m. with more information on the investigation. Watch live on Bay News 9
