BAY AREA, Fla. — Pinellas and Polk County schools are the latest to drop their mask mandates.

Both school boards voted unanimously Tuesday to allow students and teachers to go without masks starting Wednesday.

Hillsborough, Manatee and Pasco school districts have already dropped their mask mandates.

Hernando County schools decided to make June 18, the last day of school, also the final day for mandatory masks.

And Citrus County's school board is meeting on June 14 to discuss ending its policy.
