ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — With the number of COVID-19 cases rising, demand for tests is increasing in the Bay area.

Pinellas County opened an additional site Monday.


What You Need To Know


It's at the Center for Health Equity on 34th Street South in St. Petersburg.

Testing is free and no appointment is needed. It will be open every day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Meanwhile, in Tampa, the two walk-up testing locations are open again this morning.

Residents are urged to arrive at the locations at Palm River Park Community Center, 725 S. 58th St. in Tampa and 1101 E. 139th Ave. in Tampa.

Both locations were very busy over the weekend. People were lined up before the sites even opened.

Also, testing is available at CVS, Walgreens and Quest Diagnostics.
