TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Lightning will be sporting some new bling going into tomorrow night’s game against the Colorado Avalanche.

What You Need To Know

The Bolts received their Stanley Cup Championship Rings at a private ceremony last night.

Each 14-karat white gold ring was crafted by Jostens and features 338 diamonds and 52 sapphires. The top flips open to reveal the words “Cup Parade Repeat” and three diamonds to mark the Lightning’s third Stanley Cup victory.

Each player’s ring also has their last name and jersey number on the left side, as well as their signature on the inside. Also inside the ring are the results of the team's playoff wins. On the right side are two engraved Stanley Cups to signify the team’s back-to-back championships. The ring also shows a fan holding a “Go Bolts” sign on the bottom, representing the at-home Cup victory.

The Lightning had to deal with a shortened ring ceremony last year, due to pandemic restrictions, but fortunately for the Bolts, this year’s ceremony was longer and more similar to how they were before the pandemic began.

If you’d like to sport a Stanley Cup Championship Ring of your own, replicas are available for purchase. There are also limited edition replica rings available that more closely resemble what the team received. Only 88 of these rings were made to honor Andrei Vasilevskiy (No. 88), who won this season's Conn Smythe Trophy.
