PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Pinellas County Schools will offer free COVID testing for students, families and staff in an effort to curb the spread of the omicron variant.

Drive-through testing will be available from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at Evara Health in Clearwater. No appointments are needed.

Anyone going to get tested is asked to bring their student or staff ID card, as well as their insurance information and driver's license.

This comes as the school district faces hundreds of teacher absences as a result of the omicron surge.
