TAMPA, Fla. — Gasparilla season has arrived and Tampa Bay has already been preparing for months.

That includes Anne Barlett, owner of South Tampa Trading Company, who spends months each year helping bring the parade to life.

She makes hundreds of costumes each year for several different krewes, and calls it a dream come true watching her designs head down the parade route.

“It’s a lot of fun. If they can dream it, we can make it,” said Bartlett.
