It was a wild ride this morning as a front moved through the Tampa Bay area bringing with it strong storms and damaging winds. As the weather moved through, viewers started to send us photos of what they were seeing. One person sent us a photo of a tree on their car and another of their kids playhouse destroyed. The storms moved through quick and Weeki Wachee Springs even recorded a 63-mph wind gust! Belleair Bluffs in Pinellas county also had reported powerlines down and other areas throughout Tampa Bay went dark with some spotty power outages.
Now we have some chilly temperatures to look forward to. Be sure to bundle up Tampa Bay!
