TAMPA, Fla. — ZooTampa at Lowry Park is offering a special deal on admission to members of the U.S. military.

From June 1 to September 1, all active duty military, activated or drilling reservists and National Guardsmen, can get one-time complimentary admission for themselves and up to three dependents.
“We’re grateful for all armed forces personnel who are serving our country, as well as the families who support them,” ZooTampa CEO and president Joe Couceiro said in a statement.
To receive free admission, active duty military must register online through ID.me.
The deal is not valid for inactive, standby and retired reserve members, military retirees, U.S. Merchant Marine and civilian Department of Defense workers, according to the Zoo.
