ELLENTON, Fla. — One person has been injured after a shooting at the Ellenton Premium Outlets Sunday afternoon, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say it happened around 2:30 p.m. near the parking lot.

Officials say one Hispanic male was shot by people he appears to have known, and that he was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.

Deputies are currently following leads on three Hispanic suspects who were seen fleeing the area in a car, according to the sheriff’s office.

Officials say there is no threat to the mall property at this time and businesses are operating as normal.
