Max Goof, son of Goofy, will be cosplaying as Powerline during the event, Disney has announced.
The character will lead a '90s-themed crew down Main Street U.S.A. as part of the pre-parade entertainment before the event’s Boo to You parade.
Disney also shared a teaser video of the Max in the Powerline costume on its social media channels.
“For the first time ever we’re seeing Powerline Max eye to eye at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party,” read the caption on the Disney Parks Instagram post.
Powerline is the pop star character from the 1995 film “A Goofy Movie.” He also happened to be Max’s idol.
In addition to the parade, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary will include Disney’s Not-So-Spook Spectacular, the nighttime fireworks display; Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular!; a stage show featuring the Sanderson sister; festive overlays at select attractions and trick-or-treat trails around the park.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, a separate ticket event, runs select nights Aug. 12 through Oct. 31.
