DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Volusia County students are okay after a car rammed into the back of their school bus Tuesday morning in Daytona Beach, according to the fire department.

Fire officials say the bus was loading students when it was hit around 7:11 a.m. on West International Speedway Boulevard. The students were from Champion Elementary, according to a Volusia County Public Schools spokesperson.
The car became stuck under the bus, and the driver had to be rescued.
That driver was taken to the hospital via trauma alert, officials said, though it is unclear what their condition is.
Firefighters said there were no injuries on the bus, however, one child was taken to a hospital for a non-emergency evaluation.
