TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa International Airport will reopen on Friday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m., officials announced in a Twitter post Thursday.
The airport temporarily suspended operations on Sept. 27 due to Hurricane Ian.
The airport will remain closed to the public on Thursday so that staff members can prepare for the reopening.
Officials advise for flyers to arrive to the airport 2 hours before their scheduled flight and to check with their airline company for the latest information on flight status.
