- 4th Annual Downtown Easter Bacon and Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 8th
Take the family down to Pacific Park Plaza for bacon hunts and starting at noon, families can walk the downtown street and pick up goodies along the way from shops.Adoption kennels, food trucks, costume contests, face painting, balloon artist, photos with the Easter Bunny will also be on site. - 2nd Annual Ramadan Street Festival: Friday, April 7th and Saturday, April 8th
A local community center in Richardson, Texas, Raindrop of Dallas, is hosting another year of activities for all ages. The event will include: science experiments, cultural performances, Henna, face painting, Ramamdan photo booth, and much more. Things kick off at 8:30 p.m. and go until 12:30 a.m. It’s free to RSVP.
Austin:
- 17th Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 8th
Children of all ages are invited to this grand event where thousands are eggs are hidden across the Huston-Tillotson University. The hunt kicks off at 10 a.m. on the campus located at 900 Chicon Street. Goodies for the egg hunt include: $500 scholarship prize egg, prize eggs for school supplies and gift certificates, eggs with candy and coins, and filled baskets. The event is free for everyone.
- Fast-Breaking Meal with My Muslim Neighbors: Saturday, April 15th
This event hosted by the Islamic Center Of Round Rock is an open invitation to everyone of all walks of faith to celebrate the Ramadan. The event kicks off at 7:45 p.m at 1951 Hampton Lane, Round Rock, Texas. Those interested can get tickets here.

For those celebrating the Jewish ritual dinner and who would rather not cook, or wish to get out, here are a few restaurants are offering Passover meals this year.
San Antonio:
- Easter Egg-stravaganza Celebration: Sunday, April 9th
The Tower of the Americas hosts this family-friendly event and kicks off at 11 a.m. Children will have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy face painting, a petting zoo, live music, food, and more. Entry is $5.
- Raindrop Ramadan Iftar Dinner: Saturday, April 15th
The Raindrop Foundation is inviting those who celebrate to a dinner and an evening of friendship and dialogue. The dinner is free, but event go-ers are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Ramadan Food Drive for the San Antonio Food Bank.
