BRADENTON, Fla. — Evacuation orders are lifted after Bradenton residents evacuated their homes due a gas leak in the area, Manatee County Government Public Safety Department officials said.
Manatee County Sheriff Charles R. Wells announced the gas leak in a Tweet Saturday morning, notifying the public to avoid the area.
9th Street West to 19th Street West and 30th Avenue West to 21st Avenue West were closed in both directions while deputies assisted Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue with the gas leak.

TECO will be in the area to work on repairs to the affected line.
All roads have been reopened for traffic.
