TAMPA, Fla. — Jerry Seinfeld will bring his standup comedy show to Tampa on September 28, officials with the venue announced.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa at 8 p.m.

Seinfeld began his career in comedy in the early 1980s, later on teaming up with fellow comedian Larry David to create the award-winning television sitcom "Seinfeld." Seinfeld's latest projects include "Jerry Before Seinfeld," "23 Hours to Kill" and "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee." He has also starred in, written and produced movies "Comedian" and "Bee Movie."

Tickets for Seinfeld's standup show in Tampa will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com starting at $179.

The venue announced that a presale will take place on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
