OCOEE, Fla. — Florida drivers have seen a recent change in toll prices, with officials citing a required adjustment in rates.

In a news release, the Florida Department of Transportation said it's required to index toll rates to the annual Consumer Price Index.

The last adjustment took place in 2017.

The new rates took effect July 1.

The price changes affect the 511-mile Florida Turnpike System, and toll facilities that include the Sunshine Skyway, Pinellas Bayway and Alligator Alley.
