ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — St. Petersburg Police Department officials are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly shot at a woman during a road rage incident on July 5.
Officials said the man, driving a white minivan, was traveling on Dr. Martin Luther King Street North before swerving to avoid hitting a red Mazda CX3 crossing eastbound at the intersection of 116th Avenue.
The white minivan did a U-turn and pursued the Mazda until both vehicles reached the area of 116th Avenue and 4th Street North, where the man fired a gunshot at the driver of the Mazda.
The Mazda driver, a woman, suffered a serious but non-life-threatening injury, officials said. No one else was in her vehicle.
The suspect is described as an Asian man, aged 30 to 40, with some gray in his hair.
Below is a video from St. Pete Police of the suspect's vehicle.
