Jodie Stout, 52, is the owner of Stout’s Auto Service and was allegedly shot by 78-year-old Eugene Frank Becker, according to Largo Police officials in an updated press release.

According to police, Becker came into the auto business and asked for the owner. Once Stout confirmed that he was the owner, the shooting happened, authorities stated.

“Upon confirming that he was speaking with the owner, Becker produced a firearm and discharged the firearm in Stout's direction. Stout retrieved his own firearm and returned fire in Becker's direction. Officials said there is no concern for the area anymore, and the investigation is ongoing.
