TAMPA, Fla. — The Florida Strawberry Festival and Stingray Chevrolet have teamed up for a raffle of a 2024 Corvette Stingray convertible on the festival grounds.
Officials with the festival said the car, valued at $93,000, features a 490 horsepower 6.2L V8 engine, an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, rear park assist, HD rear vision camera, carbon flash painted nacelles, and a roof-convertible hardtop.
The vehicle also includes an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth technology, voice recognition, a 10-speaker Bose Premium audio system, wireless charging technology, a theft deterrent system, a high wing spoiler, a 19-inch front and 20-inch rear 20-spoke midnight gray with a red stripe, forged aluminum wheels and leather interior.
The winner of the raffle will not be required to pay a sales tax, a title fee, tag or dealer fee.
“It’s hard to believe this is already the 15th year of the raffle,” said Stingray Chevrolet Owner Steve Hurley in a statement. “This vehicle for this year is the best equipped C8 mid-engine Corvette Stingray being a 3LT, but unlike last year, it is a hard-top convertible, making it an even more expensive Corvette.”
Tickets for the drawing are $5 each and are available at the Stingray Chevrolet dealership in Plant City until Friday, March 8 at 6 p.m. and can also be purchased online until 3 p.m.
Tickets will also be available at Stingray Chevrolet’s vehicle display on the festival grounds until Sunday, March 10 at 4:30 p.m.
All proceeds from the raffle benefit Unity in the Community, a Plant City based nonprofit organization that contributes to local youth organizations and other groups who provide assistance to underprivileged families and seniors in need.
The Florida Strawberry Festival opens Feb. 29 through March 10 in Plant City.
