HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — The Plant City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in an overnight homicide investigation.

Officers said a 14-year-old died at an area hospital early Thursday. They said the boy had upper body trauma.

Police said a second person, an 18-year-old male, was also brought to the hospital and is being treated for upper body trauma.

In a news release, police said the incident happened within the vicinity of W. House Street and Lakewood Avenue.

Police have not released any information on what happened or where it happened or described the injuries.
