SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. — Tampa General Hospital is hosting a ribbon cutting Thursday of its new Heart and Vascular Institute in Sun City Center.

Last fall, TGH announced plans for a facility to serve Charlotte and Lee counties.

It will build a 6500-square-foot facility in Babcock Ranch north of Fort Myers.

Babcock Ranch is the first solar powered town in the U.S.
