A disturbance north of the Greater Antilles has low odds to develop. A trough of low pressure is producing a disorganized area of showers and thunderstorms. Development is possible as it moves westward near the Greater Antilles later this weekend or next week.
Regardless of development, locally heavy rains are possible for the northern Leeward Islands, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, and
the southeastern Bahamas through Saturday.
