PLANT CITY, Fla. — It is a place where prehistoric animals never went extinct: Dinosaur World.
It's Dinosaur World in Plant City, opened in 1998 and found at 5145 Harvey Tew Rd.
There are more than 250 dinosaur models.
In addition to these animals posed throughout the park and in the lush underbrush near their walking path, there is an indoor area as well.
The exhibit “Doom of the Dinosaurs” offers a look at fossils of the dinosaurs.
There is gem mining, geode cracking, fossil discovery and a new train shuttle to take guests on a tour of the more than 20 acres of fun.
Tickets are about $40 for adults and $35 for children.
