TAMPA, Fla. — The Gasparilla Music Festival, originally scheduled for February, has been postponed, officials announced Thursday.

Officials said the move comes from financial strain caused by two years of extreme weather and unforeseen circumstances.

Ticket refunds have begun to be processed, and officials say that guests that were expected to attend will be contacted on what the next steps will be.

A new date for the music festival has not yet been scheduled.
