TAMPA, Fla. -- Do not fear, fans of the Pirate Water Taxi will once again be able to take the company’s Haunted River Tour this October.

The tour, which promises “a frighteningly good time on the water,” will take place aboard the Captain Jack II and will run at 50% capacity, according to the company.

Parties will be required to practice social distancing and wear masks as per the City of Tampa mandates.

The Haunted River Tours last 45 minutes and will depart from the Tampa Convention Center. Tickets cost $25 for adults and $20 for children. Alcohol, soda and water will all be available to purchase.

Those interested in an “entertaining evening with tales of ghosts and haunted history along the Hillsborough River” can purchase tickets online.

While some popular Halloween attractions like Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights have decided not to open this year, other local Halloween events including Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream, ZooTampa’s Creatures of the Night, Scream-A-Geddon, and now Haunted River Tours, are moving forward with their plans.
