Wednesday is National Signing Day as some of Florida's top high school football players make their final decision on where they will attend and play in college.
December's early signing period has taken some of the excitement out of the February period for fans, but not for the players.
Several top prospects made their decision in December, but others waited until Wednesday.
The highlight of the day was Clearwater Central Catholic tight end Brett Seither signing with Georgia. The 3-star TE saw a massive spike in his recruiting interest after the early signing period ended, and chose the Bulldogs over Alabama.
Another highly-regarded Bay Area recruit was Kathleen safety Brendan Gant. The 4-star recruit had long been committed to Florida State, but chose not to sign with the Seminoles during the early signing period. Today, he made it official, signing with Willie Taggart's program.
Spectrum Sports 360 had our crews at Florida schools to catch the action.
