TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Bay first baseman Yandy Díaz and outfielder Randy Arozarena are among nine players selected to start in Major League Baseball's All-Star Game.

They won the fan voting announced Thursday by MLB for the July 11 game at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park.
Diaz leads the American League and is fifth in all of major-league baseball, with a .407 on-base percentage. After 69 games this season, he is hitting .318, also fifth in the majors. He has 12 home runs, 38 runs batted in and 53 runs scored.
Arozarena is hitting .286, with 14 home runs, 54 RBIs and 49 runs scored.
This year's game will mark the second time that two Tampa Bay hitters were voted as starters in the same year. The last time was in 2010, when Evan Longoria and Carl Crawford were selected.
Full rosters will be announced Sunday so more Rays could make the team.
Pitcher Shane McClanahan leads the majors with 11 wins and a 2.23 earned run average.
The Texas Rangers led all teams with four players getting the votes to start.
Tampa Bay sits atop the American League standings with a 56-28 record, the most victories in the MLB. The Rangers lead the AL West at 49-32.
