Snow and rain will impacts parts of the country through the next few days.

The east and west coast will be impacted by heavy rain and snow.  

The rain has finally cleared out and lake-effect snow will continue for today and the first half of Sunday.

Some areas could reach close to 2 feet of snow, so be extra careful when commuting.

Areas around the snow will see sunshine and clouds through the weekend.

Temperatures have also plunged, and much of the region will see highs only reach the 20s and 30s. Couple that with breezy conditions, and it'll feel closer to the 20s and teens.

By Sunday afternoon, conditions are looking much drier, but we stay on the chilly side.

It's looking dry across the entire region through the weekend, but we'll see cooler temperatures. Highs will only reach the 40s, 50s, and 60s all weekend long.

Areas in southern Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and northern Florida will be under a hard freeze watch and freeze watch through tonight into Sunday morning.

Sunday is also looking dry though, and we'll see plenty of sunshine. It won't be a bad weekend to be outside!

Lake-effect snow is still coming down for areas across Michigan, but most of that will come to and end by tonight.

Overall, the region looks dry for today. Although, temperatures will remain on the chilly side.

We don't get much of a break from the snow as another system moves in late Sunday morning and brings the rain and snow back. This will last through our Monday. Accumulation of snow and rain doesn't look high.

A front that moved in Friday is bringing rain towards the coast and snow to the higher elevations.

It looks like this weather event will last through the weekend until we dry up Sunday evening.

Have those umbrellas handy.

A front moving into the Southwest Sunday afternoon will bring snow to northern California, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado.

Snow will be extremely heavy for the higher elevations, so you might need to wait if you have some driving to do in the mountains.

We'll also get much needed rain across the state of California into the start of the workweek.

Temperatures appear to be typical for late December for much of the southwest.
