A line of Mexican National Guard and Army trucks rumbled along the border separating Ciudad Juárez and El Paso, Texas. It's among the first of 10,000 officers Mexico has sent to its northern frontier following tariff threats by President Donald Trump.
2. Private school voucher bill passes the Texas Senate
Senate Bill 2, which would create education savings accounts (ESAs) to let Texas families use public funds for private school tuition, passed the Texas Senate. It now heads to the Texas House for debate.
