TAMPA, Fla. — A small plane made an emergency landing in Tampa, coming to rest in the median of Bruce B. Downs Blvd. in the New Tampa area.
According to Tampa Fire Rescue, there was only one person, the pilot, on board. No injuries were reported. Tampa Fire Rescue said the plane was contracted by the city of Tampa and was doing test flights when it landed for unkown reasons shortly after 10:30 a.m. FAA has been notified.
Officials aren't sure when the plane will be removed but Tampa Police are on the scene.
