ORLANDO, Fla. – Ahead of its 50th anniversary celebration, Disney World has revealed one of the character sculptures that will be featured in its theme parks.

On Wednesday, Disney shared a look at the golden Mickey Mouse sculpture, part of its Disney Fab 50 series, with the help of Bret Iwan, who voices Mickey.
In addition to Mickey, the series will include sculptures for Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and other characters.
During the celebration, which officially begins Oct. 1, the sculptures will be displayed across all four Disney World parks—Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The other character sculptures will be revealed in the coming weeks across Disney’s various properties, including Disney+, Pixar, NatGeoTV and more.
Disney previously shared concept art of the Mickey and Minnie sculptures near Cinderella Castle, which has received a makeover for the 50th anniversary celebration.
The celebration will also include the debut of a new fireworks show at Magic Kingdom, the debut of the “Harmonious” nighttime spectacular at Epcot and the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in Epcot’s France pavilion.
