TAMPA, Fla. — Falcon’s Fury, the drop tower ride at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, is up and running again, the theme park has announced.

What You Need To Know

The ride reopened to visitors on Wednesday after being closed for several months for refurbishment. The extended closure was due to what Busch Gardens said were supply chain issues.

In January, a park spokesperson told Spectrum News the ride would reopen in the spring.

On Wednesday, the park shared POV video from Falcon’s Fury, signaling the ride was back in operation.

“Look who decided to drop on by,” Busch Gardens said in a tweet. “Falcon’s Fury is officially back open and ready for the thrills.”

The 335-foot-tall freestanding drop tower sends riders plunging face-first at 60 mph.

Falcon’s Fury opened at Busch Gardens in 2014.
