Wednesday morning will start off cool and night, you may need the sweatshirt if you're heading out early in the day. Be ready to exchange that for shorts and a t-shirt later as temperatures approach 80 degrees.

The humidity will start to creep up through the day but it will not be anything like summertime. The added moisture means our temperatures will not cool as much Wednesday night. 

The recent dry air led to nearly a 40 degree temperature swing for many communities in the last day or two.

1. Pfizer asks FDA to authorize boosters for all U.S. adults
Pfizer and BioNTech on Tuesday asked the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to amend emergency use authorization of its COVID-19 booster shot for all adults. Currently, booster doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine are available for people 65 and older and certain high risk groups.

2. AAA predicts Thanksgiving travel will approach pre-pandemic levels
The auto group says 53.4 million people are expected to travel, up 13% from 2020. In 2019, 56 million people traveled for Thanksgiving.

3. Federal dollars coming to Florida for road fixes
The Sunshine State is set to receive money to fix roads and fund several other projects as part of the $1 trillion federal infrastructure plan Congress just passed. Called the “Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act,” Spectrum News is getting a glimpse of how it will directly fund Florida’s infrastructure needs.

4. Biden admin. announces actions to address supply chain issues, fund ports
The Biden administration is taking action to address supply chain issues at U.S. ports, which the White House said have been “strained” by the COVID-19 pandemic and outdated infrastructure.

5. Tampa Bay Times: Afghan refugees arriving in Tampa Bay need apartments
More than a dozen Afghan families have arrived in Tampa Bay as refugees in recent weeks. More are expected as the 58,000 Afghans who arrived in the U.S. since America’s chaotic withdrawal leave military bases where they’re being processed.

6. Tampa org celebrates Marines birthday with Toys for Tots drive
Tomorrow, the Carrollwood Area Business Association will celebrate the birthday of the Marines with a toy drive for Toys for Tots.

7. Disney reveals full list of narrators for Epcot's Candlelight Processional
The list now includes Moana star Auli’I Cravalho, Bart Millard, Andy Garcia, Ana Gasteyer and Courtney B. Vance.

8. Schools, students still dealing with pandemic-created issues, mental health officials say
A year ago, school leaders were focused on making sure there were no educational gaps for students learning from home. But some things were pushed into the background, like socialization skills and mental health of students.

9. U.S. government plans to buy 1.4 million more courses of Merck COVID pill, pending FDA authorization
Preliminary data from the Phase 3 clinical trial found the pill reduced the risk of hospitalization or death by approximately 50%. The drug is intended to be taken twice a day for five days.

10. Orlando Sentinel: NASA pushing Artemis III moon landing to at least 2025
NASA Administrator Bill Nelson announced a shift in the Artemis launch dates including pushing the first return by humans to the lunar surface until at least 2025.

11. Jan. 6 panel subpoenas more Trump aides, including McEnany, Miller
The House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol issued another wave of subpoenas on Tuesday to a number of former Trump administration officials, including senior adviser Stephen Miller and former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

Winter the Dolphin, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium star attraction and subject of a movie series, is feeling better. Aquarium officials announced Sunday the mammal had been ailing, possibly suffering from a gastrointestinal infection.
