Florida's 21st District State Senator Jim Boyd was inspired to run by for office by his family's legacy of public service. He is proud of the sense of community in his district. 

In his Know Your Electeds interview, Boyd shares that one of his top priorities is to provide funding, support and other resources to his community to ensure a strong recovery from the pandemic.

Boyd would take an out-of-town visitor to Anna Maria Island. His first job was as a paperboy.
