Hailing from Florida's 50th District, State Representative Jennifer Canady was first inspired to run for office when she got extra credit for working on a political campaign in middle school.

The biggest lesson Canady has learned in office is the importance of listening to others and keeping the conversation going, even when it gets difficult. She would say her biggest accomplishment so far is passing a bill that gives Floridians priority when reserving campsites.

Canady would describe her district as "thriving, growing, and celebrating success." Outside of being a legislator, she runs an urban farm.
